As a fundamental part of Ranger College, the Golemon Library provides pertinent and effective user-centered services, collections, technologies, facilities, and staff that assist in maintaining the college’s mission of  providing "teaching and learning opportunities through academics, developmental education, workforce programs, and continuing education, empowering individuals to become responsible members of the local and global community."  

The Ranger College Library goals include:

  1. To provide services, access to collections, library instruction, and assistance to facilitate intellectual ventures and encourage life-long learning.

  2. To build collections in a variety of formats that support intellectual inquiry, curricula, and research.

  3. To enhance awareness of the library's services and resources through promotions, campus and community collaborations, and participate in college initiatives. 

  4. To provide user-centered, technology-rich facilities to address current and future needs.

  5. To employ effective management and assessment strategies that enhance library operations and library staff development.
