We are finally in October and ready for the opening of our exhibit Citizens at Last:  The Woman Suffrage Movement in Texas.  Please join us during regular library hours and sign our guest book.  We will have a special display of related books and biographies.  There are so many women who benefited from 19th Amendment.  My current favorite is Mae Jamison, woman, African-American, astronaut.  If ever there was a great role model, she fits the bill.  We look forward to sharing this important story with you.
