What to do this weekend

There is no shortage of things to do within 30 minutes of Ranger.  Local activities from concerts to farmer's markets are shown below.  If you know of an event send information (flyers and links appreciated) to hcozart@rangercollege.edu.  We look forward to seeing you out there!!

 

 

May 4 – May 6:  Eastland County Stampede UPRA Rodeo

Enjoy the First Annual Eastland Stampede UPRA Rodeo September 24th and 25th, 2021 at the Leon River Cowboy Church.

 

May 4 – June 10:  Eastland County Museum

Exhibit:   A Woman OF Two Worlds and a Man IN Two Worlds.  This photo exhibit tells the story of Cynthia Ann Parker and Quanah Parker, two persons caught between two different worlds.

 

May 6 - Election Day.  Get out and vote.  Our own Stephanie Worrels and John Slaughter are running for positions on the Ranger School Board.  Voting sites are the county courthouse and the Ranger Community Center

 

May 17 – Eastland County Historic Commission
