Beginning in Munich, Germany in 1835 and spreading to all corners of the Earth, Oktoberfest is the largest folk festival in the world. Its traditions and customs about the Bavarian way of life experience a lively renewal each season. The Oktoberfest stands for encounters, shared experiences, and the joy of life. The Munich Oktoberfest typically lasts three weeks from late September to early October. Across Texas you will find it celebrated on different weekends in that same time period, giving you an opportunity to visit more than one. These are the ones scheduled in 2025 that I know about. Let me know if there are others I can include.
