Scheduling Your Session

1.  Complete the checklist to demonstrate you are prepared

            _____  Review the assignment.  Know all the requirements including due date.

            _____  Prepare the content.  Have the topic researched with questions or narratives written.

        _____ Rehearse at least two times to ensure spoken language sounds natural and interviewee is familiar with questions.

            _____  Bring the transcript and/or keyword list.

            _____  Coordinate with the interviewee, if applicable, to be present

2.  Bring completed checklist with narrative to the library at least one week prior to the due date of your assignment to arrange equipment usage.  You can typically be scheduled within 48 hours.

3.  Know your schedule.  We cannot schedule your session during class, practice, or cafeteria hours.  Have a specific day and time in mind.

4.  Realize there is more to do after recording.  You will have to edit your work to ensure it still falls within guidelines and instructions.  You must to submit it to the professor on time.  Submission to the library for inclusion in the RCP catalog is normally optional.
